Micromax is all set to make its comeback in the Indian market after a long gap. The company is introducing an all-new IN series this time, which is officially confirmed to debut on 3rd November. Recently, the company officially teased the design of one of the upcoming smartphones in a social media post. The official teaser confirmed a squircle rear camera module, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an X-shaped pattern on the back panel with a glossy design on the device. Now ahead of the launch, the full-back design and the color variants of a Micromax In device are leaked.

A new leak has confirmed that one of the upcoming devices will be available in white and teal color variants. The teal variant of the smartphone will have X-shape pattern on the rear panel which seems missing on white variant. The device seems to have a polycarbonate back panel with a glossy finish. The leaked images also confirm quad-rear cameras and LED flash inside a squircle camera island on a Micromax In smartphone.
Micromax IN 1a and IN 1: Price in India
The devices under the IN series are expected to be priced between Rs, 7,000 and 15,000 in India. But we will have to wait until next week to know the official pricing of smartphones.
Micromax IN 1 and IN 1a: Specifications
The upcoming IN 1a and IN 1 will pack a large 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display. While the IN 1a is expected to sport a center punch-hole notch for the selfie camera, the IN 1 might come with a water-drop notch. These devices will offer clean and stock Android experience without any ads or bloatware, as confirmed by co-founder Mr. Sharma. Reportedly, these devices will be fuelled by 5,000mAh batteries.
While the company confirmed MediaTek Helio G35 and Helio G85 on the upcoming devices. It didn’t explicitly mention which device will feature Helio G85. Though, IN 1a had made an appearance on the Geekbench database revealing Helio G85 SoC under-the-hood. As an implication, IN 1 should be powered by Helio G35 SoC, which is rumoured to be pack 2GB RAM.
In the optics department, IN 1a will offer a 48MP quad-rear camera setup. While the IN 1 will come with a 13MP dual-rear camera setup. While the megapixel count and functionality of these sensors isn’t known yet, we can expect to see a ultra-wide-angle lens on the IN 1a. What do you think about the upcoming IN series devices?
