It’s been almost four months since Microsoft refreshed its Surface lineup with products like the Surface Pro 7, Surface Pro X, Surface Laptop 3, and the Android-powered dual-screen smartphone the Surface Duo. Of these products, the Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7, and Surface Laptop 3 were initially only made available in select markets in North America and Europe. The company, recently, however, silently launched one of these products in the Indian market. Starting today, Microsoft will officially sell the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 in India. The company is yet to formally launch the product in India, but the product pages and listings for the device are already live on Amazon.in. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Specifications, Variants
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 comes to India in four configurations, with all of them using Intel’s 10-th generation processors. The device features a 12.3-inch “PixelSense” display with a resolution of 2736×1824 pixels in the 3:2 aspect ratio. The touchscreen display supports 10-point multitouch as well. The Surface Pro 7 — depending on the variant you buy — ships with 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage is handled via SSDs with consumers getting the option to choose from 128GB, 256GB, 512GB,and 1TB options. The Surface Pro 7 claims up to 10.5 hours of battery life. There are plenty of connectivity options thrown in as well, ranging from a USB Type-C port, a USB-A port, a 3.5mm jack, and a Surface Connect port to a microSD card reader.
The device gets an 8MP rear-facing camera that supports FHD video recording. At the front, there is a single 5MP camera that can be used for video calls and selfies. The front camera can also be used to record FHD videos. The tablet runs Microsoft Windows 10 Home and also comes with a 30-day trial for Microsoft Office 365.
