MIUI 11 Update Rolling Out to 12 New Redmi and Xiaomi Phones Including Redmi Note 7, K20 Pro


Xiaomi has lived up to its promise of rolling out the MIUI 11 update to almost all the updates as per schedule. The company has already started pushing a stable update of the company’s latest MIUI iteration to 12 of its smartphones in China including the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi K20 Pro. While the update is currently being rolled out in China (and in some other parts of the world including India), a global rollout is right around the corner and we can expect these devices to get the latest MIUI 11 stable update in the month of November itself or, if we take the worst-case scenario, in December.

MIUI 11 update rolled out to 12 Xiaomi/Redmi devices, 

Below is the list of the Xiaomi/Redmi devices that are getting the MIUI 11 update –

  1. Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G
  2. Xiaomi Mi 6
  3. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
  4. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
  5. Xiaomi Mi CC9
  6. Xiaomi Mi 9
  7. Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro
  8. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro
  9. Xiaomi Mi Note 3
  10. Xiaomi Redmi S2
  11. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A
  12. Xiaomi Redmi 7A

It is worth noting that this is the second batch of devices that are going to get the MIUI 11 update. The first rollout of the latest update has already happened and 12 devices are already enjoying the sweetness of MIUI 11.

Subsequently, the third batch of devices will follow suit and the following devices will soon be getting MIUI 11 in November itself –

The latest MIUI 11 update is still based on Android 9 Pie and as far as the Android 10 (stable) rollout for these devices is concerned, the company is yet to make things official.

As far as MIUI 11 is concerned, the latest update of Xiaomi’s custom Android skin brings about a plethora of new features including the much-needed dark mode and a bunch of health-centric features in the UI.
