Xiaomi Teases MIUI 13 for India, Might Launch Alongside Note 11 on February 9

Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11S, and Redmi Smart Band Pro in India on 9 February. The company might also announce MIUI 13 for Indian consumers and might also share MIUI 13 rollout schedule for the range of devices available in the country. MIUI 13: Details and Features

To those unaware, MIUI 13 was announced back in December in China, and the MIUI 13 Global was announced last week. MIUI 13 Global comes with a host of under the hood changes including Focused Algorithms, Liquid Storage, Atomized Memory, and Smart Balance. MIUI 13 also comes with a new sidebar that opens apps directly in a floating window. Xiaomi has also introduced all-new widgets in MIUI 13 Global but those are region-specific. So, at the moment, we do not know if MIUI 13 Indian ROM will offer Widgets or not.

Xiaomi plans to roll out MIUI 13 Global ROM for a host of devices in this quarter. In fact, MIUI 13 Global ROM pilot testing has already started for a few devices including Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite. The company plans to roll out MIUI 13 Global ROM for Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11, Mi 11i, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Lite, Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi 10, and some other devices this quarter itself.

However, Xiaomi is yet to begin MIUI 13 Pilot testing program in India and we can expect the company to announce a detailed rollout schedule and kick-off pilot testing program soon after MIUI 13 India announcement.
