The Realme GT 6T looks different from most other Realme phones – a combination of matte and glossy finishes, with a triple camera island. It has a curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is a bright display that won’t break a sweat under direct sunlight and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Realme GT 6T is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and is one of the best-performing phones under Rs 35,000. In our testing, the Realme GT 6T scored 1,465,167 in AnTuTu benchmarks, and 1,853 (single-core) and 4,851 (multi-core) in Geekbench benchmarks.
The Realme GT 6T handled heavy games with ease, it ran BGMI at Ultra HDR+Ultra settings and was able to keep a frame rate of 40fps. It achieved 60fps frame rates without any hitch at the HDR+Extreme settings. COD: Mobile ran on the phone flawlessly at its maximum graphics settings of Very High+Very High with a maximum frame rate of 60fps (dropped to 48fps at times).
The Realme GT 6T features a dual camera setup – 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide. We found that the camera performs well in daylight, with great details. The images have a warm tone to it, and the results are consistent. But it struggles in low-light conditions. The secondary ultrawide camera can be termed average at best. The 32MP selfie camera is good, but we found it odd that the skin-smoothening filter is turned on by default, washing away all the details the camera captures, luckily it can be turned off and images have great detail and accurate skin tones.

The phone came with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. It has bloatware apps, which can be uninstalled easily. It is backed up by a 5,500mAh battery, which goes from 0 to 100% in 33 minutes with its bundled 120W fast charger.
If you want raw performance, a decent set of cameras, a great display, and a big battery that charges up in a flash, the Realme GT 6T is one of the best phones under Rs 35,000.

The POCO F6 has a simple design, it is made of plastic and has a coarse texture on the back that keeps smudges away. It has an AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is quite bright and can be easily used under direct sunlight. It has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. POCO has upgraded the water resistance to include an IP64 rating, which gives it splash resistance.
The POCO F6 is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The naming might suggest that this chipset is superior to Realme GT 6T’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, but that’s not the case as both chipsets offer similar performance. It’s evident from the benchmark scores from the testing we did. The POCO F6 scored 1,404,605 in the AnTuTu benchmark and scored 1859 (single-core) and 4669 (multi-core) in Geekbench.
It performed brilliantly in gaming tests, ran BGMI in Ultra HDR graphics and Ultra framerates, and maxed out the graphics settings in COD: Mobile. The phone did skip a few frames in both games and got slightly warm after extended periods of gaming.
The phone has dual cameras on the back – a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The results were rich in detail, the colour reproduction was accurate and the images had a balanced dynamic range. The phone held on its own well in low-light conditions as well. The ultrawide camera didn’t offer anything new, it is just decent. The selfie shooter is good, although it smoothens out the details in faces, even with every filter turned off.

The POCO F6 runs HyperOS based on Android 14, and the experience is quite smooth. But the phone bundles a load of bloatware apps and games, which send notifications back to back. These can be uninstalled and disabled, though. It has a 5,000mAh battery and an in-box 120W charger (the phone only supports up to 90W), which charges the phone from 0-100% in 45 minutes.
The POCO F6 is the value-for-money choice for under Rs 35,000 for its great performance, display, and good set of speakers.

OnePlus changed gears for the design in the Nord 4; it looks unlike anything in OnePlus’ portfolio and is polarising. It is the first 5G phone with a metal unibody design, and the camera array placements are unique. It is IP65-rated for resistance from water splashes.
The Nord 4 has a 6.74-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is similar to the display from its predecessor, the Nord 3 and offers a smooth, bright and vibrant viewing experience.
The OnePlus Nord 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, the same chipset as the Realme 6T GT. In our testing, the Nord 4 scored 1,145,842 on the AnTuTu benchmark; and it scored 955 single-core scores and 3920 multi-core scores on the Geekbench benchmark. In gaming tests, it could run BGMI at Ultra graphics and Ultra fps settings and reach a maximum frame rate of 40fps. The graphics settings on COD: Mobile was maxed out to Very High quality+Maximum fps.
The OnePlus Nord 4 has a dual camera setup – a 50MP primary camera (Sony LYT-600 with OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The images shot with the primary camera have good details and colours and performs well under low light situations.
The phone has OxygenOS 14.1 based on Android 14. There is a big focus on AI features, and the phone comes with features such as Audio Summary, Screen Translate, LinkBoost and more. It has a 5,500mAh battery, which charges from 0-100% in just 24 minutes with its 100W charger.
The OnePlus Nord 4 has a unique appeal. It brings back the nostalgia of metal phones from yesteryear, and if you’re someone who’s into that and is looking for a value deal for the price of under Rs 35,000, it might be the phone for you.

Vivo has opted for a new design for the Vivo V40 has a fresh new design, with a huge camera array and a wavy pattern, making sure that this phone will stand out amongst others. It has a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, that reproduces excellent colours.
The Vivo V40 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It’s not as powerful as Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 or Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 from the phones featured above. In our testing, Vivo V40 scored 813,692 in the AnTuTu benchmarks and 1173 and 3172 in single-core and multi-core scores in the Geekbench benchmark. It ran BGMI at Ultra graphics and Ultra fps settings and gave a frame rate of 40fps. It also maxed out COD: Mobile in the Very high quality+Max fps settings.
The phone has 50MP dual rear cameras. The primary 50MP camera takes great photos in daylight, with close-to-source colours and captures skin tones very well. In low light, the details get lost, but the phone’s Aura light should help capture photos better. Selfie photos and the Ultrawide images are great too. ZEISS cameras are not just for the namesake!
It comes out of the box with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14, which is feature-rich and easy to use. But the persisting issue of bloatware apps exists in this phone too. These can be easily disabled and removed, but that’s an extra step. It has a 5,500mAh battery that charges from0-100% in 51 minuteswith its in-box 80W charger.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro looks pretty much like all the other Edge series phones launched recently, and that’s a good thing. It not only looks premium, it feels premium with this vegan leather finish. It has a 6.7-inch 1.5K curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate; it has good viewing angles and is vivid and crisp. The phone’s IP68-rated, which sets it apart from other phones at this price.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, the same chipset used by the Vivo V40. The phone scored 827,231 in the AnTuTu benchmark and 1,134 (single-core) and 2,910 (multi-core) scores in the Geekbench benchmarks. In gaming tests, the phone ran BGMI at Ultra HDR and Ultra framerate settings, with a maximum of 40fps framerates. It also ran the game at 60fps on HDR graphics settings and Extreme fps settings.
There are three cameras – a 50MP primary, a 13MP ultrawide/macro and a 10MP 3X telephoto camera. The photos captured by the primary camera in daylight were detailed and had good control over the dynamic range, however, the colours aren’t as natural as advertised, and they lean more on the warmer side. The images captured were good in low light too, and the 3X telephoto works very well for capturing human portraits. The ultrawide and selfie cameras also performed decently in our testing.
The phone has HelloUI based on Android 14 with new additions like revamped quick settings and notifications bar, classic Moto gestures and other features. It has no bloatware apps pre-installed, which is a rare sight nowadays. The phone has a 4,500mAh battery, slightly lower in capacity compared to others in the segment, but it charges the quickest with the in-box 125W charger. It goes from 0-100% in 22 minutes, which is crazy fast.

The HONOR 200 looks premium and the design stands out from the rest thanks to the pill-shared camera module and the textured back; it looks especially stunning in the Moonlight White colour. The curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate has accurate and vivid colours and is sufficiently bright even in direct sunlight.
Honor 200 Display
1 of 2
The HONOR 200 has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the same chipset as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Vivo V40. It scored 699,959 in the AnTuTu benchmark, and 1163 (single-core) and 3299 (multi-core) scores on Geekbench. BGMI ran on the phone at HDR quality+Extreme fps as its maximum settings, and we didn’t see any major frame drops. COD: Mobile ran at Very High quality+Max fps and maintained a frame rate of 60fps, when changing the settings to Low quality+Extreme fps, it ran at 90fps.
The phone’s primary camera captures outstanding images in daylight, with true-to-life colours and accurate white balance. The outputs from the 50MP ultrawide camera are good, but the edges appear stretched and sometimes grainy. The images don’t lose much quality as the light goes down. Portrait photography is the phone’s strong point and it takes portraits with great edge detection, accurate colours and proper bokeh effect.
It runs Magic OS 8 based on Android 14, which has lots of features like Magic Capsure (like Apple’s Dynamic Island), Magic Ring, Magic Anywhere Door, Lock Screen customisations, and more. It has a 5,200mAh battery with up to 100W fast charging. But the charger doesn’t come in the box with the phone, and it needs to be bought separately. We tested the official 100W charger and it took 43 minutes for the phone to go from 0 to 100%.
If you take a lot of portrait images with your phone, a great display, and decent performance, the HONOR 200 is a no-brainer for the price of Rs 35,000.
