With so many smartphones on the market from various brands, we thought it would be interesting to compare the recently launched Infinix Note 50x 5G+, Vivo T4x, iQOO Z9s, and Realme P3 in an intense battery test. Curious to see who comes out on top? Let’s find out.
What’s Under the Hood of These Smartphones
Before we jump into our ultimate battery test here at MySmartPrice, let’s take a closer look at what’s powering these smartphones.
The iQOO Z9s comes with a 5,500mAh battery, while the Infinix Note 50x 5G+ offers the same battery capacity.
Meanwhile, the Realme P3 steps up with a 500mAh larger battery than both the iQOO Z9s and Infinix Note 50x 5G+. The Vivo T4x, however, leads the pack with a 6,500mAh battery—the biggest of the lot.
All of these devices are priced under Rs 20,000, making them quite competitive in the budget-friendly segment.
A Peek into Our Battery Test Methodology
To give you a clearer picture of our battery test process, here’s how we go about it. We begin by fully charging the phones and then draining them down to 0%. First, we stream 4K YouTube videos for 2 hours, followed by running some benchmarks for an hour. Afterwards, we let the devices rest overnight to see how much battery they lose while idle. The next day, we record more 4K footage for another 2 hours, then dive into 30 minutes of BGMI gameplay. We follow this up with a 30-minute session of YouTube Shorts, then more benchmarks for an hour, and another 30-minute round of YouTube Shorts. Finally, we wrap up by recording 4K video until the phones shut down.
Check out the image below for a detailed breakdown of our testing method.
We made sure all the phones were fully charged to 100%, set to maximum brightness, with the auto refresh rate turned on and background apps cleared. Plus, we updated their software to the latest version before starting the test.
