The Motorola Razr 50 is much thinner and lighter than the OPPO Find N3 Flip. The brand is offering the device in peppy colours like Spritz Orange, Beach Sand, and Koala Grey. While the Koala Grey offers a vegan suede finish, the other two come with a vegan leather back panel.
We got the Koala Grey variant for the review and the finish has a great aesthetics and hand feel. However, we found that it attracts dust easily and you need to keep cleaning if you are not using a case. As for the build quality, it’s a sturdy device with Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the cover display and an IPX8 ingress protection rating.
The OPPO Find N3 Flip comes in Cream Gold and Sleek Black colourways with a glossy back panel. We got the Cream Gold variant, which has wavy patterns and draws attention to itself. The device is a fingerprint magnet, which was not that apparent with our review unit but is likely to stand out on the black variant. The OPPO Find N3 Flip doesn’t have any IP rating, which is a bit concerning.
The Motorola Razr 50 with its premium finish and IPX8 rating, takes the win in the design department. Moreover, it also has a larger cover display, which brings us to…

Both the Motorola Razr 50 and OPPO Find N3 Flip flaunt an LTPO AMOLED display. However, the Motorola Razr 50 offers 3,000 nits of peak brightness, which is almost double of what the OPPO Find N3 Flip’s screen has to offer.
The Motorola Razr 50 also supports HDR10+ for a superior video streaming experience online. Having said that, the OPPO Find N3 Flip’s display is also good for multimedia and other tasks. It’s just that the Motorola Razr 50 is a tad bit better.
Coming to the cover display, the Motorola Razr 50 has a much bigger squarish panel with easy accessibility to most apps. The OPPO Find N3 Flip has a more conventional horizontal but smaller cover display.
If you are in the market for a flip phone with an exceptional display, the Motorola Razr 50 is the one to pick. It has a much brighter, high-resolution foldable display with a massive and useful cover display.

The Motorola Razr 50 comes with a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity processor, and you can see the result in the above synthetic benchmark scores. In the AnTuTu benchmarking, the OPPO Find N3 Flip with Dimensity 9200 SoC completely decimated the Razr 50. The story repeated in the Geekbench scores as well.
While both smartphones are great for everyday tasks and usage, the OPPO Find N3 Flip has extra horsepower and great thermal management. If you are looking for a flip smartphone that can handle occasional Genshin Impact or other intense gaming sessions, the Find N3 Flip is the one.
Motorola Razr 50 vs OPPO Find N3 Flip: Software
Motorola Razr 50 | OPPO Find N3 Flip
Software | Hello UX based on Android 14 | ColorOS 13.2 based on Android 13 |
OS Updates | Three years of OS updates | Four years of OS updates |
Security Updates | Four years of Security updates | Five years of Security updates |
The Motorola Razr 50 comes with Hello UX based on Android 14. The brand guarantees three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. The software has a neat and clean UI with familiar Moto gestures. Additionally, the games on the external display and Google Gemini integration are great additions to the overall experience.
OPPO has assured four years of OS updates and five years of security patches for the device. This means that both these smartphones will get support till Android 17. However, the interface is loaded with bloatware and pre-installed apps, the polar opposite of the Hello UX experience on the Motorola device.
With support for Android updates remaining the same until Android 17 for both devices, the Motorola Razr 50 gets the upper hand in the software department. The clean interface, seamless transition from cover to main display, and Google Gemini integration are too good to pass up.
Motorola Razr 50 vs OPPO Find N3 Flip: Cameras
Motorola Razr 50 | OPPO Find N3 Flip
Primary Camera | 50MP primary camera with OIS and f/1.7 aperture | 50MP primary camera with OIS and f/1.8 aperture |
Ultrawide Camera | 13MP ultrawide/macro camera with f/2.2 aperture and field of view of 120˚ | 48MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and field of view of 114˚ |
Tertiary Camera | – | 32MP telephoto camera with f/2.0 aperture |
Front Camera | 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture | 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture |
The OPPO Find N3 Flip has the edge in the camera department, thanks to a powerful triple camera setup on the back and a higher-resolution selfie camera. It’s the first flip phone with a triple camera setup, and the tertiary telephoto lens sets it up for success.
During our testing, we found that the primary camera captures crisp, sharp, and detailed pictures with vibrant colours. The telephoto lens captures great, detailed close-up shots with natural-looking bokeh. The camera also clicks great low-light shots, thanks to AI tweaking and a customised algorithm to emulate a spotlight on the subject. Even the 32MP selfie camera performs well in the day and night.
The Motorola Razr 50 is missing the telephoto lens, but that’s par for course in this segment. The camera clicks good daylight photos with well-highlighted details. However, you will notice a colour shift when clicking ultra-wide pictures. The portrait shots are also great with accurate edge detection. But the camera loses steam when the sone goes down and clicks pictures with crushed details. Selfies turned out to be great with natural skin tone.
The OPPO Find N3 Flip is the better camera phone between the two. The presence of the segment-first telephoto lens, AI-backed night photography, and higher resolution selfie camera makes all the difference.

The Motorola Razr 50 can last all day on a single charge with moderate usage and some intensive gaming involved. The smartphone supports 33W fast charging and takes over an hour to charge fully from zero.
The OPPO Find N3 Flip, on the other hand, supports 44W fast charging and finishes charging fully in under an hour. In our testing, we found that this device’s background battery management is exceptional. It loses only about 2-3% battery overnight. On a full charge, the handset easily lasts a day and some more.
Motorola Razr 50 vs OPPO Find N3 Flip: Verdict
The Motorola Razr 50 fits the bill for those looking for a foldable device without having to burn a hole in their pocket. Its massive cover display, excellent main display, clean interface, and powerful battery work in its favour.
On the other hand, the OPPO Find N3 Flip is ideal for those with extra money to spend and who want a foldable smartphone with the best cameras on board. From the conventionally sized cover display and triple rear camera setup to superior performance and excellent battery management, the price markup is somewhat justified if you can afford it.
