In our testing, the phone handled daily tasks effortlessly, managing multitasking and gaming with ease. The device ran BGMI at 60 FPS with HDR + Extreme settings in our gaming tests while maintaining good thermal management.
The Google Pixel 9 Pro features Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, which benchmarks show to be approximately half as fast as the Dimensity 9400 SoC, as demonstrated by the difference in AnTuTu and Geekbench scores. This performance gap was evident in gaming tests, where the phone heated up during the COD Mobile in-game download screen. While we achieved 120 FPS at Medium and Ultra settings (occasionally dropping to 114 FPS), the constant warmth detracted from the gaming experience. Nevertheless, the phone handled everyday tasks smoothly.
The OPPO Find X8 Pro clearly leads in performance, demonstrating superior benchmark scores and gaming capabilities.

We found the ultrawide camera’s performance could be improved, as it showed some grain and edge distortion. Low-light performance was inconsistent, though the selfie camera performed reliably.
