The OPPO Reno 13 5G series is set to launch on January 9 at 5:00 pm IST. The launch event will be live-streamed on YouTube and the social media handles of the brand.

Expected Pricing and Availability
The Reno 13 5G series smartphones will be available on Flipkart, OPPO India’s e-store, and retail outlets. The vanilla Reno 13 5G will come in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. It is expected to be priced in the sub-Rs 40,000 segment.
In contrast, the Reno 13 Pro 5G will be available in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants. The smartphone could be priced under Rs 50,000 for the base variant with 256GB of internal storage.
Design and Display
The Reno 13 5G and Reno 13 Pro 5G will debut as the first devices in their segment to feature aerospace-grade aluminium frames. The standard model will sport an AirLight Comfort design, being 7.24mm thick and weighing 181 grams. It will be offered in Ivory White and Luminous Blue shades.
The device will have a single-piece sculpted glass that seamlessly integrates the back panel with the camera module. OPPO has confirmed that the standard model will feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Meanwhile, the Pro model will include a larger 6.83-inch quad-curved OLED display, offering the same resolution and refresh rate. The Pro version will feature a design similar to the standard model but is slightly larger, being 7.5mm in thickness and weighing 195 grams.
The Reno 13 Pro will be available in Mist Lavender and Graphite Grey. Both smartphones carry an IP69 rating, making them resistant to water up to a depth of 2 meters for 30 minutes.
Performance and Software
The vanilla and Pro models will be the first to feature the customised MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, built on a 4nm process. The SoC will score over 1,480,000 on the AnTuTu V10 benchmark and features the advanced NPU 780 AI processor.
The smartphones also integrate the OPPO X1 SignalBoost chip with AI LinkBoost 2.0 support. Both will feature the TÜV STD Lag-Free Mobile Gaming certification, promising up to eight hours of uninterrupted gaming.
The Reno 13 5G series models will run ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, and are rated for 60 months of smooth performance. They also include AI features like AI Summary, Screen Translator, and AI Writer.
Cameras
The Reno 13 5G will boast a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an ultra-wide lens with autofocus, and a monochrome camera. In contrast, the Reno 13 Pro 5G will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.88 aperture, an ultra-wide lens with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom.
Both models will share a 50MP front camera with autofocus. The camera-focused AI features will include AI Live Photo, AI Clarity, AI Studio, AI Portrait, and AI Reimage. Additionally, both devices will support underwater photography mode.
Battery and Charging
The OPPO Reno 13 5G will pack a 5,600mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It is claimed to charge from 1-100% in 48 minutes. The Reno 13 Pro 5G will house a larger 5,800mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging tech.
It will also charge from 1-100% in 49 minutes. Both the batteries are claimed to offer five-year durability.
