POCO will soon launch a new member of its popular M series, the POCO M7, in India. The launch is a few days from now, and before the official unveiling, the brand has given some details about the phone. Here’s all we know about the upcoming budget POCO phone, which is set to launch next week.
POCO M7 Launch: Timings and Where to Watch
The POCO M7 will launch in India on March 3 at noon. It will be a soft launch, but details can be caught on POCO’s social media and YouTube channels.
Design
POCO has revealed the M7’s design, inspired by the POCO C75. There will be a big camera hump at the back. The back panel will have a matte finish and dual-tone design (seen from a few angles) and come in multiple colour options. A greenish-blue colour has been confirmed, but details about other options remain unknown.

The phone will include a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille at the bottom. The device is also confirmed to get a speaker setup with a 150% volume boost.
Display
The POCO M7 will have the usual 6.88-inch punch-hole display type with minimal bezels. It will support a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits of HBM (high brightness mode). The panel could be an LCD one and is expected to support a screen resolution of 720×1640 pixels.
It is supposed to be the segment’s largest display and have TÜV Rheinland’s Triple Certification (TÜV Flicker-free, Low Blue Light, and Circadian) for reduced eye strain and a comfortable viewing experience for prolonged hours.
Hardware
The POCO smartphone is confirmed to get the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset based on the 4nm process. The phone is expected to attain a 450K+ AnTuTu score and provide a “smooth performance, efficient multitasking, and a seamless user experience.”

It is also slated to be the first phone in its segment to support a total of 12GB of RAM. Now, this means support for 6GB of RAM, along with 6GB of Turbo RAM. Details about all RAM+Storage configurations aren’t known yet.
The M7 will most likely run HyperOS (based on Android 14) and could include a large battery with 18W fast charging. One thing to note is that these details haven’t been revealed at the time of writing.
Cameras
The POCO M7 will include dual rear cameras with the primary snapper rated at 50MP. There’s no word on the secondary and front camera configuration. The phone will support several AI camera features, but the brand hasn’t detailed them yet.
POCO M7 Price and Availability
The POCO M7 will start at under Rs 10,000, as confirmed via the Flipkart listing, so we expect its starting price to be Rs 9,999, going up to Rs 12,000. With this pricing, the POCO M7 will compete with the likes of the Moto G45, the Lava Blaze 3, the Redmi A4, and more.
