
Realme will launch the Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G series smartphones on August 29 in India. The brand has already revealed some of the key features and specifications of the Realme 13 5G series smartphones. Here’s a look at all we know about the upcoming Realme smartphones.
Realme 13 5G Series: Price and Availability
The forthcoming Realme smartphones will be available in India via the Realme India e-Store, Flipkart, and retail outlets. The company has yet to confirm the price range of the upcoming smartphones. However, we expect Realme to price the base variants of the smartphones at Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000 for the vanilla and Plus variants.
Realme 13 5G Series: Design and Display
Realme will launch the smartphones in Speed Green and Victory Green colour options with a SpeedWave texture and IP65 dust and water resistance. The company confirms that the Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G will sport an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a centred punch hole cutout, and AI Eye Comfort.
Realme 13 5G Series: Performance and Software
Realme reveals that the smartphones will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC, manufactured on a 4nm process. The chipset is confirmed to have up to 26GB of RAM (including virtual RAM) and 256GB of internal storage.
Realme claims the device scored over 7,50,000 points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform. The Realme 13+ 5G will also sport gaming-specific features, including GT Mode, which will offer 90fps with select games. Realme 13+ devices will run Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.
Realme 13 5G Series: Cameras
The Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G will sport an oval-shaped camera module on the rear, which also houses the LED flash. Realme confirms that the smartphones will sport a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary camera with OIS. The company is expected to rely on an 8MP ultrawide camera for the Plus variant and a 16MP selfie camera for both smartphones.
Realme 13 5G Series: Battery and Charging
Realme confirms that the Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired SuperVOOC fast charging tech. The upcoming smartphones will also include a dedicated Battery Health Engine, seen on other Realme and OPPO phones. This is a system-level optimisation is designed to improve battery longevity.
