We Got Our Hands on the 10,000mAh Realme GT: Here’s Our First Impressions

Battery life has long been the battleground for smartphone innovation, but Realme has taken things to an entirely new level with its GT 10,000mAh. It's the kind of battery we usually see in tablets or power banks, not something you'd expect to slip into your pocket. The phone is still in the concept stage, but Realme let us use it for a brief period. Here’s the (G) tea — or our first impressions, if you may.

Realme GT 10,000mAh: Our Initial Impressions

At first glance, the Realme GT 10,000mAh doesn't look like a phone built around a giant battery, and that's the most impressive part. Its design remains sleek and modern, defying expectations of bulk.

Under the hood, Realme is using a next-gen anode composition in the battery, featuring 10% silicon—the highest concentration seen in any smartphone battery to date.

We even managed to get a look at the battery, and it's shockingly thin—almost hard to believe given the 10,000mAh capacity. Take a look below to see how it measures up against 6,000mAh and 7,000mAh units.

When it comes to the overall design, the Realme GT doesn't stray from the traditional slab style. At 8.5mm thick and over 200 grams, it feels solid in the hand. But what's truly remarkable is how the phone manages to maintain a slim, polished look, despite housing such a hefty battery. The balance between size and design is nothing short of impressive.

The design render reveals a sleek rectangular camera housing on the back, hinting at a possible triple-lens setup on the Realme GT 10,000mAh. Besides that, the back panel is semi-transparent, giving you a look at the insides, specifically the battery. It looks quite stunning but we are not sure if this will be the final design once it hits the stores.

Realme GT 10,000mAh: Beyond the Massive Battery, What's Inside?

So far, we've only had a chance to explore the Realme GT’s design and its hefty 10,000mAh battery. Beyond that, the details remain largely under wraps.

What we do know is that the phone might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, with a 6.7-inch display likely on the cards. However, no confirmed details are available for this yet. And, Realme remains mum to these questions as of now.

On a more concrete note, it's confirmed that a 100W charger will be included in the box. So, any guesses on how much time it will take the phone to reach 100 percent from the dead?

While many of the phone's features are still unknown, it's clear that Realme is tapping into the growing trend of larger batteries, which more and more brands are incorporating into their devices. With battery life becoming a key selling point for consumers, this phone seems ready to meet those demands head-on.

We're looking forward to seeing how it performs, especially when it hits the Indian market and its pricing is revealed. Realme tells us that it’s inevitable. Stay tuned to MySmartPrice for all the latest updates as we uncover more details.
