The Realme GT 7 Pro is priced significantly higher than the Realme GT 6, with a difference of Rs 20,000 between the base variants. Both devices are available in up to 16GB+512GB configurations. They are sold on Flipkart, and bank discounts are available for up to Rs 3,000.

• The Realme GT 7 Pro has a Mars-inspired design. It comes with a glass back panel with slight curves and flat edges. The device weighs 222 grams and is available in Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey colours.
• The Realme GT 6 also comes with a glass back panel with a higher curvature. It has a plain finish with a dark strip on the camera module for a two-tone finish. The device has separate glass modules for each camera compared to a single-piece covering on the GT 7 Pro. It weighs 199 grams and is available in Fluid Silver and Razor Green colours.

The Realme GT 7 Pro has a more premium finish and bolder colour choices. However, design is subjective to personal preference. The overall build quality is similar on both phones with a glass-sandwich design, but the GT 7 Pro is heavier by 20 grams than the GT 6.

The Realme GT 7 Pro is undoubtedly the better pick between the two, as there is almost a two-generation difference between the Snapdragon 8 Elite and the 8s Gen 3. The GT 7 Pro is almost 40% more powerful in peak performance compared to the GT 6. But the 8s Gen 3 is still a great chipset for daily usage and gaming, at least for the next two years.

Realme GT 7 Pro vs Realme GT 6: Software

• The Realme GT 7 Pro comes with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 out of the box. The device has AI features such as AI Zoom, AI Unblur, AI Sketch to Image, and many other functions for photography. It also uses AI to boost gaming performance by adjusting the chipset utilisation and syncing it with the screen’s refresh rate. The GT 7 Pro will receive three Android updates and four years of security patches.
• The Realme GT 6 runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. It supports AI Night Vision Camera, AI Smart Removal, AI Screen Recognition, Gemini AI, Air Gestures, and more. It is eligible for three Android updates and four years of security patches.

The Realme GT 7 Pro and GT 6 both support plenty of AI features for photography and image editing. They also support Gemini AI integration. The GT 7 Pro is eligible for up to Android 18, while the GT 6 will only get up to Android 17.

The Realme GT 7 Pro is indeed the latest and the greatest offering from Realme in India. It comes with a super bright AMOLED screen, a high-resolution rear camera setup with OIS, a large capacity with fast charging support, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It is the most powerful device you can buy today in India.

The Realme GT 6 has a flagship-killer DNA. It comes with almost the same display, a capable rear camera setup with OIS on the primary sensor, and a similar-sized battery with fast charging. While the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is not as powerful as the 8 Elite, it is still an excellent chipset even that can serve you well for the next few years.

For Rs 20,000 extra, you get almost 40% higher performance, an improved periscope telephoto lens, and one extra Android update on the Realme GT 7 Pro. If you are a gamer, then it’s surely worth spending the extra. But if you are on a tight budget, then the Realme GT 6 is still a great choice for its price!
