Redmi Note 10 Pro Max price in India starts at Rs 18,999 for the base 6GB + 64GB model. The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 19,999. There is also an 8GB + 128GB model priced at Rs 21,999.
The Note 10 Pro Max India price starts at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB + 64GB. It also comes in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB storage options priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999, respectively.
Lastly, the Note 10 price in India starts at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model. The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 13,999.
Design
The Redmi Note 10 series features an all-new EVOL design. The Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max feature a Frosted Glass back. It is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. The devices are 8.1mm thick and weigh 192 grams.
The two phones come in Vintage Bronze, Glacial Blue, Dark Night colours.
The standard Note 10 sports a polycarbonate back. It comes in Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black colours. The device weighs 178.8 grams and is 8.3mm thick
All three devices come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Note 10 series features a 3.5mm headphone jack and also comes with an IR Blaster.
Display
Both, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Note 10 Pro, sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The screen comes with 120Hz refresh rate support. It also has a tiny hole-punch cutout for the 16MP front camera. The screen also comes with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. It also comes with HDR10+ certification.
The standard Note 10 features a smaller 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. Unlike the two Pro models, the Note 10 misses out on a 120Hz panel and comes with a 60Hz refresh rate screen. The screen on the Note 10 has an 1100 nits peak brightness and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 compared to the Gorilla Glass 5 on the Note 10 Pro, Note 10 Pro Max.
Camera
All three Redmi Note 10 smartphones come with a quad-camera setup. However, the sensors inside the rectangular module varies.
The Note 10 Pro Max features a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary camera sensor. The Note 10 Pro comes with a 64MP ISOCELL GW3 sensor. Both smartphones come with an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 118-degree field of view, a 5MP Super Macro Sensor with 2X zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor.
For selfies, the Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max come with a 16MP front camera.
Redmi Note 10 also sports a quad-camera setup. It has a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera. The phone also features an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
The hole-punch cutout houses a 13MP front camera sensor on the Note 10.
Performance and Software
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Note 10 Pro come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. The phones come with 6GB/ 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.
The standard Note 10 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC. It is paired with 4GB/ 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Storage can be further expanded using a microSD card.
The three devices run on Android 11-based MIUI 12 out of the box. Xiaomi has promised the phones will get the MIUI 12.5 very soon. The devices also come with dual speakers.
Battery
The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max pack a 5,020 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The standard Note 10 packs a marginally smaller 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The fast charger is included in the box.
Which one should you buy?
The three Redmi Note smartphones offer absolute value when you compare the spec-sheet and the price associated with each device.
Out of the three, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the most premium offering priced at Rs 18,999. The difference between the Pro Max and the Note 10 Pro is the primary camera sensor. The Pro Max model comes with a 108MP primary camera. If you shoot a lot of photographs and want the high resolution sensor in the price range, the Note 10 Pro Max is the phone to go for. Others can opt for the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
The standard Note 10 also packs excellent hardware for the price. If you are tight on the budget and want a phone with a Super AMOLED screen and a big 5000 mAh battery, the Redmi Note 10 should be a primary consideration.
