Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 14 Series in India next week. The company has confirmed three new phones, the Redmi Note 14, the Note 14 Pro, and the top-end Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Xiaomi’s Chief Marketing Officer Anuj Sharma recently posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on the evolution of the Redmi Note 14 Series. He mentioned that the Redmi Note Series is now focused on offering a more refined, premium, and longevity experience to its customers.

The Redmi Note 14 Series is expected to start at Rs 18,000 this time for the base model. It could go up to Rs 30,000 for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Xiaomi has hinted that these new phones will have a premium touch, which may translate to higher pricing.

The base model Redmi Note 14 will feature a flat-style display. It will have triple rear cameras, including, a 50MP primary camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and OIS support. It will also retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is confirmed by the banner images on the Amazon microsite. No additional details have been revealed by the company yet.

To recall, the Redmi Note 14 was launched in China with a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It featured the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset. The dual rear camera setup included a 50MP primary and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone was backed by a 5,110mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro will have a 3D curved AMOLED screen covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. The phone will have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Xiaomi has confirmed the phone will feature triple rear cameras with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support. No further specifications have been confirmed so far.

The Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro featured a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset. The phone has an upgraded triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has a larger 5,500mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will be the biggest upgrade in the series and will also have a 3D curved AMOLED screen. Xiaomi mentions it will come with over 20 unique AI-powered features. Teaser images confirm the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup with OIS support. However, the company has not revealed the exact specifications of the camera.

If we look at the China variant, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ shares the same 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen as the Note 14 Pro. It gets the more powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor with advanced AI capabilities. The device has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. It also has the largest battery on a Redmi Note with a capacity of 6,200mAh.

Given the track record of previous launches, the specifications of the Indian variants are likely to remain the same as the Chinese variants. From what is confirmed, all three models of the Redmi Note 14 Series will have 5G connectivity.

Redmi Buds 6 and New Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker

Xiaomi will also launch its Redmi Buds 6 at the event. These earbuds will have an in-ear design with silicon ear tips. They will be equipped with dual-driver technology for superior sound quality. The earbuds will also have AI-powered noise cancellation of up to 49 dB. The company has also confirmed its latest earbuds will feature an IP54 rating and a USB-C port for charging.

The Xiaomi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker will be available in three bold colours: Black, Blue, and Red. They will have an easy-to-carry strap and multi-function buttons. the speaker will be water resistant, and Xiaomi says it can be used for pool parties. Promotional images suggest that the speaker will have a punchy bass output on one side. The company has not revealed details like the sound output or drivers.

The global variant of the same speaker is rated for a 30W sound output. It has an IP67 rating. The speaker supports Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and an exclusive sub-woofer. It offers a playback time of up to 12 hours.
