Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Expected Specifications
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series will flaunt the bleeding-edge flagship features and specifications. Let’s dive into the details:
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Design
Rumours suggest the Samsung Galaxy S25 series may undergo a major design overhaul this year. The infamous skin brand has already posted its Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra listings, giving us the best look at the upcoming flagships, as you can see below.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s curved corners are apparent. Another notable change is the entire series’ camera module, which features black camera ring borders similar to those on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The Dbrand listing only shows the back panel of these devices with a sticker, but past leaks have revealed a lot more.
According to Evan Blass, all three devices will sport flat displays with impressively narrow bezels. The same tipster has also shared these smartphones’ colour variants and dimensions, listed in the table below:
Device | Dimensions | Colours |
Galaxy S25/S25+ | Galaxy S25: 146.9 x 70.4 x 7.2mm Galaxy S25 Plus: 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.3mm |

Galaxy S25 Ultra | 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm | Titanium Pink Silver Titanium Blue Black Titanium Jade Green |
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Display
As for the display, Android Headlines reported that the base Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ would retain the 6.17-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively, from their predecessors. It’s speculated that these devices will flaunt features like an LTPO panel, QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, and more.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra might have a bigger display than the S24 Ultra—a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel. The popular tipster Ice Universe claims the Ultra flagship will flaunt a display resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 with 501ppi. We expect the anti-reflective coating from last year to be present as well.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Processor
The same tipster also claims Samsung will equip all flagship models this year with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform. We expect the brand to collaborate with Qualcomm to create a special Snapdragon 8 Elite For Galaxy version for the upcoming flagship line.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: RAM and Storage
As for the configurations, the vanilla and the Plus models may get 12GB RAM instead of 8GB for the base variant. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may finally get a 16GB variant. However, it was recently spotted on Geekbench with 12GB RAM.
As for storage, an X user, Sawyer Galox, posted that the Galaxy S25 Ultra may come with UFS 4.1 storage. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 and S25+ will flaunt UFS 4.0 storage, similar to the existing Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Cameras
Rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ offer a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front, they are expected to flaunt a 12MP selfie camera. Samsung is retaining last year’s camera system for the base models.
On the contrary, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to come with an upgraded 50MP 0.7um ISOCELL JN3 sensor for the ultra-wide camera, with the remaining setup being the same. This means the S25 Ultra will feature a 200MP HP2 primary camera, a 10MP IMX754 telephoto with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP IMX854 telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and the new ultra-wide camera.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Battery
Rumours and leaks suggest that Samsung might retain the battery and charging specs from the S24 series. This means the Galaxy S25 and S25+ may feature 4,000mAh and 4,900mAh batteries, respectively. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could have a 5,000mAh battery.
A recent FCC listing revealed that the vanilla model might feature the same 25W wired charging, and we can safely assume there will also be 15W wireless charging. Similarly, the S25+ and Ultra will flaunt 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Software
At its 2024 Samsung Developer Conference, Samsung announced that the next-gen Galaxy S25 series flagships will come with Android 15-based One UI 7 pre-installed. The latest software from the South Korean brand is expected to bring new Galaxy AI features and a design overhaul.
The new software will include a smorgasbord of new animations, a revamped split quick settings panel, and redesigned icons. A recent report also claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series may offer its buyers a free Gemini Advanced subscription for three, six, nine, or twelve months.
Another report suggests the Galaxy S25 Ultra will offer a car crash sensor that detects crashes using data from multiple physical sensors. The Galaxy S25 smartphones may finally get seamless update support, letting users operate the phone normally while the update process continues in the background.
This is all we know about the Samsung Galaxy S25 series as of now but there’s plenty to look at! We will update the article as and when new details emerge, so stay tuned to MySmartPrice!
