The entire month of May is about to pass by in the blink of an eye, yet nothing has deterred smartphone brands from unveiling a slew of their products in the last week. Some of these phones are crammed with flagship-level features, but are relatively light on the pocket. In addition to this, a few companies are keen to set a new benchmark with these irresistible technologies in their respective segments. So, what are you waiting for? Put your sulking over the squandered time session on hold, and let’s greet these upcoming smartphones with open arms.
iQOO Neo 10
iQOO is all set to expand its beloved Neo series with the latest-gen iQOO Neo 10 on 26 May. This smartphone will be the first to introduce the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor in India. It is armed with the in-house Q1 supercomputing chipset, which keeps the frame rate stable, handles heat more efficiently, and more. Moreover, the brand has installed a 7,000 mm2 vapour cooling chamber to keep the system cool.
Apart from this, the iQOO Neo 10 is decorated with another achievement. It will be the first iQOO handset with 16GB RAM and a 512GB storage configuration under Rs 40,000.
The phone will rely on a giant 7,000mAh battery for power, with 120W super-fast charging support. The rear camera module is advertised to flaunt a 50-megapixel Sony primary snapper, with OIS, alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide.
Realme GT 7 and GT 7T
Surprisingly, Realme follows in iQOO’s footsteps of succeeding fan-favourite phone series with their latest iteration on 27 May. Yes, it is geared to unveil the Realme GT 7 and 7T, the successor to the well-received GT 6 lineup launched last year.
It has already been revealed that the GT 7 will be the first phone to bring the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset to India (article). On the front, the phone is expected to boast a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, this display is claimed to reach 6,000 nits of peak brightness. On the rear, the 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary camera will head the optics department with its 112° ultra-wide and telephoto brethren. The entire system will draw energy from a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W super-fast charging.
It’s time to shift the spotlight to the youngest member of the Realme GT series, the GT 7T. This phone is expected to bear the same display and battery specifications as its bigger brother, the GT 7. The phone may depend on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor for performance.
Realme Neo 7 Turbo
In addition to the GT 7, Realme is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset in its new smartphone, the Neo 7 Turbo, unveiled on 29 May. Unfortunately, it is a China-bound device. But, the fortunate thing is that this smartphone is equipped with a 7,700 mm2 vapour chamber, so it can continue to perform at its peak state for extended periods.
Various marketing materials have revealed that the Realme Neo 7 Turbo may feature a 7,200mAh battery with 100W charging. Regarding the camera department, the phone is said to have a 50-megapixel dual camera.
Vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini
Vivo will join Realme in the smartphone unveiling on 29 May with its upcoming devices: S30 and S30 Pro Mini. A recent report by 91Mobiles suspected that the regular Vivo S30 may feature the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor as the commander of the entire operation. It also added that this phone may come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
Now, it’s time to explore the Vivo S30 Pro Mini. The report by the 91Mobiles team, mentioned above, highlighted that this phone may rely on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e for performance. Moreover, it is rumoured to boast a smaller 6.31-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
It is speculated that both phones may use a 6,500mAh battery unit for energy and flaunt the same IMX882 periscope camera.
While these smartphones are tempting, Vivo will launch them in China. If you are disheartened by this news, then don’t be.
