Vivo X200 Series Roundup: All You Need to Know

Vivo will launch the flagship Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro smartphones on December 12 in India. The series will succeed last year’s arguably the best camera-centric X100 series. The brand has confirmed the key details of the Vivo X200 series smartphones, ahead of its launch and has already made it to the Chinese market. Vivo X200 Series Launch: Where to Watch and Timings

The Vivo X200 series will be introduced at a launch event in New Delhi, scheduled for noon on December 12. The event can also be live-streamed via the company’s YouTube channel and social media platforms.

Vivo X200 Series: Price and Availability

The Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro smartphones will be available through Amazon India, Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store, and retail outlets. The vanilla X200 and X200 Pro smartphones are expected to be priced in the sub-Rs 70,000 and Rs 90,000 segments.

Vivo X200 Series: Design and Display

The X200 smartphones will come with a large rear circular camera module, housing triple cameras. Both the Vivo X200 series smartphones will sport IP69 + IP68 dust and water resistance. The Pro variant will come in Titanium Grey and Cosmos Black colours. The vanilla model will also be available in Cosmos Black and Natural Green shades.

Both smartphones will feature a quad-curved display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The Vivo X200 Pro will also support LTPO tech and include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The X200 will come with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo X200 Series: Processor and Software

The Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro will pack the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, fabricated on a 3nm process. It will be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

The X200 series will also house the advanced V3+ imaging chip for enhanced computational imaging. Both smartphones will run FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.

Vivo X200 Series: Cameras

The Vivo X200 Pro will be the country’s first phone to flaunt a 200MP Samsung HP9 telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom. It will be joined by a 50MP Sony LYT 818 primary camera and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera. Both the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro will house a 32MP selfie camera.

The vanilla Vivo X200 will also house similar Sony primary and Samsung ultrawide cameras. However, the device will get a slightly lower-res 50MP Sony IMX 882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

Vivo X200 Series: Battery and Charging

The upcoming flagships will be the first in India to be backed by a semi-solid-state battery. The vanilla and Pro models will house 5,800mAh and 6,000mAh batteries respectively, which are engineered for lasting endurance.

Both smartphones are expected to support 90W Flash Charge wired charging tech. The Vivo X200 Pro will also feature 30W wireless charging support.
