Original story continues…

An upcoming iQOO smartphone, likely part of the Z10 series, has been spotted in the database of the EEC certification platform. Currently, the brand is preparing to launch the iQOO Neo 10R, an affordable performance-focused smartphone, on March 11 in India. Meanwhile, speculation is growing that iQOO is also working on the Z10 series for the Indian market.

Recently, the iQOO Z10x 5G, reportedly carrying the I2404 model number, was found listed in India’s BIS certification database. To recall, last year’s iQOO Z9 series included multiple models, such as the iQOO Z9, Z9x, Z9 Lite, and Z9 Pro, suggesting that the Z10 lineup may also feature multiple models in India.

The above screengrab reveals that an upcoming iQOO smartphone with the I2407 model number has received approval from the EEC certification platform in Europe. The recent iQOO models, such as the iQOO 13, iQOO Neo 10R, and upcoming Z10x, have I2401, I2221, and I2404 model numbers, respectively.

The I2407 model number could likely be associated with any of the remaining Z10 series models. Hopefully, upcoming certifications will reveal more details about the mysterious I2407 iQOO phone.

iQOO Z10 series for China

Reports have revealed that the brand is also gearing up to launch a different Z10 series for the Chinese market. The lineup is expected to include the iQOO Z10x, Z10, Z10 Turbo, and Z10 Turbo Pro. The Turbo-branded models were recently spotted on Geekbench, revealing that these will come equipped with high-end chipsets.

The iQOO Z10 Turbo has been spotted with the Dimensity 8400 chip, indicating that it will compete with the likes of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and Realme Neo 7 SE, which feature the same chipset. On the other hand, the Z10 Turbo Pro with the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite onboard is expected to rival the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro (China) / Poco F7 (global) equipped with the same chip.
