Apple iPhone 14 series is expected to launch in September 2022. The company will launch four new smartphones at the launch event. This year, there will be no “mini” version of the iPhone, according to rumours. Apple will instead launch two 6.1-inch and two 6.7-inch iPhones. The Pro models are also said to get a major redesign. According to reports, Apple will ditch the notch in favour of a hole-punch cutout. A new leak from a reliable tipster now suggests that the Apple iPhone 14 Pro will have a pill-shaped cutout instead of a wide notch.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro could say goodbye to the notch
Tipster Dylan claims that the Pro models will feature a small pill-shaped for the iPhone front camera. The Pro devices will continue to have Face ID and the related sensors will be located under the display. Placing the Face ID sensors has not had any negative impact so far, according to the tipster. The leak, sort of, falls in line with some previous reports which also claimed that the notch is going away. However, these reports stated that there will be a hole-punch cutout on the iPhone Pro.
