ASUS is preparing to unveil its latest gaming phones, the ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro, on November 19. However, ahead of its official launch, we spotted the ROG Phone 9 series on the Geekbench ML database, which has revealed some of its specs. Here’s the complete scoop.
ASUS ROG Phone 9/9 Pro on Geekbench ML
The ROG Phone 9/9 Pro scored 1812 on the Geekbench’s Core ML Neural Engine Inference test. It evaluates the performance of a device’s machine learning capabilities, specifically focusing on how efficiently it can run neural network models.
Furthermore, the listing confirmed that these latest gaming phones will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest SoC Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with Adreno 830 GPU and a whopping 24GB of RAM. It also confirmed that the devices will run the Android 15-based OS out of the box.
ASUS ROG Phone 9/9 Pro: Everything We Know So Far
If we go by the leaks and rumours, the ROG Phone 9 series is expected to flaunt a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung Flexible LTPO AMOLED screen with 1 to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (up to 165Hz upscaling in system setting or 185Hz in Game Genie mode), 2,500 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
In terms of optics, the device is likely to sport a 50MP Sony Lytia 700 primary camera and a 13MP 120-degree ultrawide lens. While the Phone 9 is expected to get a 5MP macro camera, the ROG Phone 9 Pro could include a 32MP telephoto lens. Both will include a 32MP selfie shooter.
