Realme GT 7 Pro Announced
The Realme GT 7 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch micro-curved LTPO AMOLED panel with 120Hz variable refresh rate and Dolby Vision. It packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 out of the box. The device houses a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

Lloyd Novante IOT 8.5kg Fully Automatic Washing Machine Launched
Lloyd has introduced the Lloyd Novante IOT 8.5kg fully automatic washing machine with a top-load design and single-drum. It has a washing capacity of 8.5 kg and sports 5D Ultra Wash Technology, which uses multi-dimensional water flow to remove stains. The washing machine gets an in-built heater to get rid of bacteria and IOT smart connectivity.

WhatsApp gets Custom Chat Lists
Meta-owned social media giant has announced the rollout of custom chat lists for WhatsApp users. The feature will allow users to add custom lists to the Chat Filters tab at the top and serves as an advanced version of the Favourites tab. The users can create custom lists like Friends, Family, Work, etc., which will appear on the top bar next to the All, Unread, Favourites, and Groups tab.

Instagram Introduces New Features
Instagram has started rolling out the DM filter, intended for creators, businesses, and influencers. The feature will allow users to stay on top of their messages by sorting and filtering based on the sender’s account type. The message requests now support filtering based on factors like verified accounts, businesses, creator accounts, subscribers, etc.

OPPO and HKPolyU Renews Collaboration
OPPO and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) have renewed their collaboration to increase funding and technology investment. The company confirms that the PolyU-OPPO Joint Innovation Lab will be upgraded to the Joint Innovation Research Centre. OPPO aims to promote technical development and exploration in imaging algorithms to further enhance AI imaging technology.
The renewal in collaboration comes after Joint Lab has actively explored cutting-edge technologies, including image restoration and detail enhancement based on generative models.
