POCO M7 Pro 5G and POCO C75 5G Launch Date
The POCO M7 Pro 5G and POCO C75 5G will be unveiled on December 17 in India and will be available through Flipkart. Both smartphones are confirmed to be introduced in the sub-Rs 16,000 segments. The POCO M7 Pro 5G will come with a 6.67-inch GOLED display, FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and more.
The POCO C75 5G will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. Read more here.
Vivo Switch Off 2024 Survey
Vivo and CyberMedia Research (CMR) unveiled the findings of the sixth edition of its Switch Off research study with the Impact of Smartphones on Parent-Child Relationships title. It has highlighted the urgent need for parents and children to reflect on their unmindful smartphone usage. Many parents and children explicitly identify smartphone usage as a source of conflict between them.
Two-thirds of interviewed kids said that they would not use social media if their friends were not on the apps. About 72% of children want to use their phones only to stay in touch with friends and family.
Among them, 77% of children want no phones when they are with them. The findings also reveal that two-thirds of parents and children use their smartphones even during meaningful social moments.
The brand is also observing December 20 as Switch Off Day. It is dedicated to raising awareness about the responsible use of technology.

Backbone has launched the Backbone One Gaming Controller, which is compatible with Android and iOS devices to offer a console-like gaming experience. The device has two joysticks on each side, directional buttons, four additional buttons, and a D-pad for navigation. It is also available in a premium PlayStation configuration with a similar design.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro Android 15 Open Beta Update
iQOO is rolling out the FunTouch OS 15 based on the Android 15 open beta for the iQOO Neo 9 Pro users in India. The open beta update comes with the PD2338F_EX_A_15.1.6.7.W30 version number and weighs 2.73GB. It integrates the Circle to Search feature, a new priority scheduling algorithm, and a rapid dynamic effect engine.
