TECNO PHANTOM V2 Series Launched
TECNO has unveiled the PHANTOM V Fold 2 with a 7.85-inch inner screen and a 6.42-inch cover screen with an LTPO 120Hz refresh rate. The PHANTOM V Flip 2 has a 6.92-inch inner display and a 3.64-inch cover display. The V Fold 2 and the Flip 2 are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and Dimensity 8020 chipsets, respectively. Both run HiOS based on Android 14 out of the box with AI features.

Samsung Rolls Out One UI 7 Beta
The One UI 7 based on the Android 15 beta is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in India, Germany, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US. The stable version is confirmed to be released in early 2025, probably alongside Galaxy S25 series smartphones. The One UI 7 focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) and enhanced personalisation.

JioSaavn Replay 2024 Goes Live
JioSaavn has released the JioSaavn Replay 2024, which shows the year-end summary of all the top songs and artists streamed by the user. For those unaware, it is the second-largest music streaming platform in India, with over 100 million active users. The Replay 2024 shows the user’s total number of minutes of music streaming, top-played music tracks, best playlists, and favourite artists in separate lists.

Google Revises Update Policy
Google has revealed that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series smartphones, including the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7a, will now receive up to five years of updates. The time period of five years begins when the device was first available on the Google Store in the US. The updates will include Android OS upgrades, security updates, and regular Feature Drops.
Apart from this, the Google Pixel Fold, which also came with a three-year update policy, is now eligible for the five-year update policy. Read more here.
