JBL Wave Series 2 Go Official

JBL has introduced the JBL Wave Beam 2 and the JBL Wave Buds 2 in India. The Wave Series 2 earbuds sport 8mm dynamic drivers with JBL Pure Bass Sound technology. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.3 protocol and support Fast Pair by Google and Swift Pair by Microsoft. Both support ANC, Smart Ambient Technology, 40 hours of playback time, an IP52 rating for buds, an IPX2 rating for the charging case, and more.

The JBL Wave Beam 2 and the JBL Wave Buds 2 are available at an introductory price of Rs 3,999 and Rs 3,499, respectively. Check it out here.

JioTag Go Launched

The JioTag Go is the first in the country to use Google’s Find My Device feature, which allows users to track this tag even if they are not in its vicinity. It uses the network of all Android phones to enable this functionality. The Android smartphones supporting the Find My Device feature constantly scan and detect Android tags, and data will be uploaded to Google’s servers in real-time.

U&i Launches New Accessories

U&i has introduced the U&i Younger Series Neckband, Clarity Series TWS Earbuds, Galaxy Series BT Speaker, and the Turbocharge Series Car Charger. The neckband features Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, ENC, 50 hours of playback, soft silicone tips, and 120-minute charging. The TWS has touch controls, 30 mAh per earbud, a 260 mAh case, and offers 60 hours of playback time.

The Galaxy Series BT Speaker offers 10W output and is backed by a 1,500mAh battery with six hours of playback time. U&i has also unveiled a car charger that has two USB A ports and supports 15W wired charging tech. Check out the new products here.

Sandisk Debuts New Brand Preview

Sandisk has unveiled its new corporate branding, signalling its company’s comeback as a standalone flash and memory technology innovator, planned for early 2025. It has also showcased a new creative direction, the Mindset of Motion, which represents a future-forward philosophy. The new direction aims to create paths and possibilities for people to go without limits.

The brand adds the Sandisk wordmark will represent a heritage of mobility and versatility that enables a seamless and simplified world of resilient data expression and storage.

Snapchat Introduces Monetisation Program

Snapchat has announced a new unified monetisation program for creators. Eligible creators can monetise Spotlight videos longer than 1 minute, starting February 2025. Creators with at least 50,000 followers who post at least 25 times per month to Saved Stories or Spotlight and post to either Spotlight or Public Stories on at least 10 of the last 28 days will be eligible for the program.

They will have to achieve at least 10 million Snap views, 1 million Spotlight views, or 12,000 hours of view time. Check it out here.
