Today, HTECH has introduced the HONOR 200 5G series smartphones in India. Nothing has confirmed the launch date of a new smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus in the country. Let’s look at the top six important news stories of the day.

HONOR 200 5G Series Launched

The HONOR 200 5G and HONOR 200 Pro 5G sport a 6.7-inch and 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and 4000 nits peak brightness. The 200 and the 200 Pro are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Launch Date

Nothing has announced that it will launch the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus on July 31 in India. The event will start streaming at 2:30 pm on Nothing’s social media handles, and the device will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Nothing has yet to confirm the design or specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

Ambrane MagSafe Power Banks Launched

Ambrane has introduced two new MagSafe power banks in India with a Qi2 wireless charger, which will be a part of the upcoming Amazon sales. The brand has launched the AeroSync PB Prime 10,000mAh 2-in-1 power bank, which offers 22W wired quick charging, 15W wireless charging, a metallic finish body, a Type C wired charging port with 20W input power, and starts at Rs 2,299.

Ambrane has also launched the AeroSync PB 11 10,000mAh, which is a MagSafe power bank priced at Rs 1,999, and the AeroSynQ with 15W Qi-2 and MagSafe compatibility at Rs 1,299. Check these out here.

Samsung Expands Live Translate Functionality

Samsung has started expanding the Live Translate feature to third-party applications, which debuted with the Galaxy S24 series. The feature uses on-device AI processing to translate voice calls to the user’s preferred language. Samsung has rolled out the feature for all third-party voice-calling apps, including WhatsApp, Google Meet, and more.

BGMI 3.3 Update Released

Krafton India has started rolling out the BGMI 3.3 update for Android and iOS users. The company has included the new Ocean Odyssey theme mode, X-Suit, lucky crates, supercars, and more with the update. The new update will replace the Mecha Fusion mode, which came with the previous update.

Samsung to Boost Operations in India

Samsung’s Head of Mobile eXperience (MX) Business TM Roh, confirmed that Samsung has held talks with its Indian component partners about strengthening operations. To recall, Samsung has been manufacturing facilities since 1996 and has R&D centres in Noida and Bengaluru, which are two of the biggest R&D centres of the brand.

The giant will soon start manufacturing laptops at its Noida facility and work closely with component partners to strengthen the infrastructure and supply chain. The recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are manufactured at the Noida plant.
