Today, Vivo has confirmed the launch of the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro smartphones in India. Xiaomi has also announced a launch date for a new variant of the Xiaomi 14 CIVI launching in the country. iQOO has shared a new teaser revealing the design of the upcoming iQOO Z9s series smartphones. Vivo V40 Series Launch Confirmed

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro will soon launch in India with ZEISS optics, focusing on portrait photography. The triple camera setup of the Vivo V40 Pro will include a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto camera.

HMD Crest Series Launch Date

HMD will announce the HMD Crest series smartphones on July 25, i.e., tomorrow in India. The company has confirmed it will announce the HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max 5G smartphones in the country. The Amazon microsite of the smartphone has teased the glass back panel with self-repair capabilities.

The teasers also suggest that HMD could equip the smartphone with a flat display with a centred punch hole cutout.

iQOO Z9s Series Design

iQOO India CEO has dropped a new teaser on X (formerly Twitter) confirming the rear design of the upcoming smartphones. The teaser suggests that iQOO will equip the device with triple cameras and rounded edge corners. iQOO will also equip the smartphone with a textured finish on the rear similar to its other smartphones.

We expect iQOO to confirm the launch date and other specifications of the smartphone in the coming days.

Xiaomi 14 Civi Limited Edition Launch Date

Xiaomi has confirmed that it will unveil a new edition of the Xiaomi 14 Civi on July 29 in India alongside the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Redmi Pad SE 4G. The microsite for the upcoming event confirms that the device will be available with a PANDA design, coming in glass back and leather back editions with unique pop colours.

HONOR X9b Receives Magic OS 8.0 Update

Madhav Sheth, CEO of HTECH has announced the rollout of the Magic OS 8.0 based on the Android 14 update for the HONOR X9b users in India. The update will bring several features to the users, including Magic Capsule, App Extender, smoother animations, improved battery life with Ultra Power Saving mode, enhanced privacy with Blur Private Info, and more.

The update is now available for the HONOR X9b users in a phased rollout manner and can be checked manually from the Settings menu.
