YouTube Testing Feature Similar to Community Notes
YouTube is testing a feature, which will allow users to “Write Notes on Videos” to improve the video information. The feature will allow users to give more context to videos, which are misleading or confusing. YouTube is sending a notification to users to be part of the Pilot Programme, which allows writing notes on videos.
To recall, the feature was previously announced by Google in June, and the notes written by users will only go live after it is rated helpful by other people part of the programme.
