Today, OPPO launched the OPPO F27 5G with a flat AMOLED display, MediaTek SoC, large battery, and more in India. Vivo and Realme have confirmed the launch date of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G and the Realme 13 5G series, respectively, in India. Let’s look at the top five important news stories of the day.
OPPO F27 5G Launched
OPPO equips the OPPO F27 5G with a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with LPDRR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. OPPO debuts the device with a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary and 2MP secondary snapper.

Vivo T3 Pro 5G Launch Date
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G will go official on August 27 and will be available through Flipkart and Vivo India e-Store. Vivo has confirmed that the device will be available in Emerald Green and Sandstone Orange colour options with a thickness of .49 mm. The T3 Pro 5G will sport a 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness.
Vivo also teases that the device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC and Sony IMX primary camera. Read more here.
Realme 13 5G Series Launch Date
The Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G smartphones will launch on August 29 in the country. The smartphones were previously confirmed to be available through Flipkart and Realme India e-Store. Realme confirms that the Realme 13 5G series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC fabricated on a 4nm process.
The company claims the upcoming smartphones have scored over 7,50,000 points on the AnTuTu v10 benchmarking platform. Read more here.

Acer has launched the new Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop, which has a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a 165Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB, and 500 nits peak brightness. The AI gaming laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, paired with DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
