[Exclusive] Vivo V20 Renders and Key Specifications: 44MP Selfie Camera and 5G Support Confirmed

It was only yesterday that the trustworthy folks at 91Mobiles published a report which talks about the possibility of Vivo coming up with a slew of new smartphones to the company’s popular V series. According to the report which cited industry sources, the new handsets that will come to India soon include three new devices – the Vivo V20 SE, Vivo V20 Pro, and the Vivo V20. Two of these handsets – the V20 SE and the V20 Pro – have already appeared in several certification and benchmarking platforms. A day later, we have come across new images of one of the handsets – the Vivo V20.

Without further delay, take a look at the images below.

As you might have observed, the camera layout on the V20 is similar to the one on the company’s existing camera-centric smartphone – the Vivo X50 Pro. The phone appears to have a triple camera array at the rear (as opposed to the quad-camera setup on the X50 Pro). The Vivo V20 – at least going by the image – lacks the square periscope camera that we saw on the X50 Pro. While we do not have details of the rear camera sensors yet, we know that the V20 series will feature dual cameras at the front with the primary front camera using a 44MP sensor.

It remains unclear if the V20 series would get the famed gimbal stabilization feature that we saw on the X50 Pro. The rest of the hardware specifications also remain a mystery. There is talk about the possibility that the V20 series could come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and that the devices will ship with up to 8GB of RAM. These handsets will also run FunTouch OS based on Android 10 at launch. Overall, we will see several feature and design upgrades to the new V20 series when compared to the V19 that sells for Rs 24,990 in India.
