The upcoming Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphone are now increasingly appearing in leaks, renders, videos, and even marketing materials. Apart from the standard but still premium-looking Black as well White color options, rumors recently claimed the Google Pixel 3 XL will also sport a rather whimsical Mint Green and somewhat mystical ‘Sand’ color as well.
A recent and rather visually expressive leak about the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL smartphone strongly suggested the flagship Android will come in a brand new Mint color. The leak also suggested another equally interesting ‘Sand’ color for the Pixel 3 XL. Till date, photos, videos and even marketing materials that allegedly leaked online, clearly suggested the smartphone will launch in the traditional yet elegant Black and White color options only.
Now, a person closely related to the development of Google Pixel 3 XL has apparently clarified that the Mint Green and Sand colors do not exist. The person confirmed Google Pixel 3 series mobile phones have two colors options: Black and White. The flagship Android may also launch in light Pink color. But these are the only color options allegedly under development and consideration.

The excitement about the possible existence of a Mint Green and Sand color option probably stemmed from a new ‘Coming Soon’ page teased the handset. The Pink color might have been mistaken for the ‘Sand’ color option.
Interestingly, there is the presence of Mint Green color on the Google Pixel 3 handset. However, it is present only on the power button. In other words, only the power button on the White color version of the Google Pixel 3 smartphones will have the Mint Green color. The power button on the Black color version will not get the color treatment. Hence at this stage, we are back to only two or perhaps three color options for the upcoming Pixel 3 and 3XL.
