Google is expected to launch the Pixel 7 series in US later this year of which the renders of the Pixel 7 Pro already leaked last week. The Google Pixel 7 Pro will have minor changes compared to the Pixel 6 Pro in terms of design.

In the latest development, a Google Pixel series device has been spotted on BIS certification which indicates that the company might launch a new Pixel series device in India soon.

A Google device with the model number GX7AS has appeared on the BIS certification which hints that the device could launch in India. Google hasn’t launched any device in India after the Pixel 4a which had a good run in the country. Let’s know more about the Google Pixel series device that appeared on BIS certification.

GX7AS Spotted on BIS Certification, Is Google Pixel 7 Launching in India?

We recently spotted a device with model number GX7AS on the BIS certification website. While there is not much information available about the device, we can confirm that it’s a Google Pixel device. A report by Xiaomi UI claims that the model number GX7AS will be produced in three sets. We can speculate that it could be part of the Google Pixel 7 lineup which will have three phones – Pixel 7a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro.

Google didn’t launch the Pixel 6 series in India however, the rumor mill says the company could unveil the Pixel 6a soon and will launch it in India as well. Which could be the device in question here.

That said, Google’s Pixel lineup has a complicated history in India. That’s why we would advise you to take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for further confirmation from the company.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Features

The upcoming Google Pixel 7 Pro is expected to have a similar design to the Pixel 6 Pro. On the back, it could house a triple-camera setup which will have a main wide camera, an ultrawide camera and a periscope camera.
