Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro REL Certification

The Canada’s Radio Equipment List (REL) certification confirms that Google will launch the upcoming Pixel smartphones with the GUR25 and GEC77 hardware version identification numbers. The certifications confirm that Google will launch smartphones with the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro monikers.

To recall, our team at MySmartPrice recently spotted the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold in the REL certification with the GZC4K and GGH2X hardware version identification numbers. We have also spotted all the upcoming Pixel 9 series smartphones in FCC certification ahead of their debut.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL (GZC4K), Pixel 9 Pro Fold (GGH2X) and Pixel 9 Pro (GEC77) are confirmed to sport 2.4GHz, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, UWB, 5G, and thread radio connectivity. The inclusion of support for thread radio allows smartphones to control smart home devices.

The FCC certification reveals that the Google Pixel 9 (GUR25) and another Pixel 9 series device (G2YBB) will measure 152.8 x 72 mm in length and width. The Pixel 9 is also confirmed to sport dual band Wi-Fi connectivity, 5G, UWB and NFC connectivity options. We expect the other details of the smartphones to be revealed in the coming days. So stay tuned.
