Google will announce the upcoming Google Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold at the Hardware event scheduled for August 13. The company will also launch the new Pixel Watch 3 series. Ahead of the launch, 91Mobiles, in collaboration with OnLeaks, has revealed the promo materials, which confirm the specifications and AI features of the device.
Google Pixel 9 Series: Expected Specifications, Features
The Pixel 9 series is expected to be designed for AI and will come with Gemini AI. This will bring multiple features, including Circle to Search, Pixel Screenshots, and more. The Gemini Advanced AI Model will be bundled with the smartphone for free for the first year. There’s no word on how Google plans to monetise from this eventually.
The Pixel 9 series will sport Emergency SOS features that will send crisis alerts, help prevent scams, and more. The smartphones will run Android 14 and will be eligible for seven OS upgrades and seven years of security patch updates.
As for the design, the Pixel 9 series will have a soft matte finish on the rear and a glossy finish on the sides. The Pixel 9 series will be available in light grey, dark grey, off-white, and pink shades.
