The Google Pixel 9 series went official at the Made by Google Hardware event in August 2024. Android Headlines has collaborated with noted tipster OnLeaks to reveal the CAD-based renders of the Google Pixel 9a.
Google Pixel 9a CAD Renders
The CAD renders reveal that the Pixel 9a will sport dual cameras inside a small ring, unlike its predecessor, which had a camera bar. The upcoming smartphone will also house an LED flashlight beside the camera ring. There will be a reduction in bezels in comparison to the Google Pixel 8a.
The power button and volume rockers will be present on the right side of the device alongside the antenna markings. There will be a slit for the speaker on the bottom apart from the USB Type C port and SIM card tray. The smartphone will come with Android 15 out of the box, unlike the regular Google Pixel 9 series, which came with Android 14.
The Pixel 9a is also tipped to be the last Google smartphone to use Samsung-designed Tensor SoCs and is likely to use the Tensor G4 SoC. Apart from this, the Pixel 9a is also rumoured to debut with a 6.1-inch display, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage and will probably be available in four colours.
