Honor recently launched its Magic 7 series in China, which included the vanilla Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro. Now, it seems like the company is setting up the stage to expand this lineup by including a new Magic 7 Lite member. Today, we spotted the Magic 7 Lite on the Google Play Supported Devices and Play Console Database. Here’s the complete scoop.
Honor Magic 7 Lite on Google Play Supported Devices and Play Console
The device appeared with the HNBRP-Q1 model number on both platforms, which is interesting as the Honor X9c, which was launched today in Malaysia, also shares the same model number. However, the listing on the Google Play Supported Devices and Play Console confirmed the moniker of the device as Honor Magic 7 Lite. So, we are assuming that it could be some sort of a rebranding thing. But in which region? Well, that remains a question.
The listing on the Play Console revealed that the upcoming Honor device would have a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU and 12GB of RAM. Unfortunately, it doesn’t reveal any details about the device’s storage or cameras. However, it mentions that the upcoming device will have a 1224×2700 FHD+ resolution and run on the Android 14-based OS.
Furthermore, it also shows the render of the front portion of the device, which closely resembles the newly arrived Honor X9c. Which further solidifies our belief that it could be some sort of a rebranding thing. But until we get some official announcement, it’s always a good idea to approach these details with caution.
