Huawei spin-off brand Honor is prepping up for a new launch event. The Chinese smartphone company will launch new X-series smartphones in its home country on October 28. Honor has confirmed the launch of the X30i and the X30 Max. The two smartphones will be unveiled four days after the launch of the Honor Play5 Vitality Edition. The company has sent out invites for the launch event. It reveals the design of the two smartphones. Let’s take a look at the Honor X30i, X30 Max specifications, features and other details.

Honor X30i, X30 Max launch

Honor will launch the X30i and X30 Max in China on October 28. There is currently no word on the international availability of the two devices at the moment. Honor is likely to confirm the details at the China launch event on October 28. The invite confirms some key details of the two phones.

The X30i is the more affordable offering among the two. It has a square-shaped camera module on the back with a triple-camera setup. The LED flash is also placed inside the cutout. Honor has not teased any specifications of the device yet. However, the details have leaked online, which we will get to after sharing some details of the X30 Max.

The teaser invite confirms that the X30 Max has a dual-camera setup on the back. It is rumoured to feature a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera module also houses the LED flash module.

Other leaked details of the X30 Max include a large 7.09-inch LCD with a Full HD+ resolution. The phone will also feature a Dimensity 900 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. Honor could pack a 5000 mAh battery in the device with 22.5W fast charging support.

Coming back to the X30i, the phone is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch LCD with a hole-punch cutout. It is likely to come with a 90Hz refresh rate support as well. The phone is rumoured to pack a Dimensity 810 SoC and a 4000 mAh battery. For fast charging, the phone will come with a 22.5W fast charger. It is rumoured to feature a 48MP primary camera, accompanied by two 2MP sensors. For selfies, the phone will come with an 8MP front camera.
