Infinix is all set to launch a new Note series smartphone – the Infinix Note 40 5G in the Indian market. The Infinix Note 40 5G will launch on June 21 in the country. The company has yet to make a formal announcement for the upcoming launch. However, Infinix India has updated the header image on its X account which reveals the launch date. The Infinix Note 40 5G is touted to be the cheapest smartphone with an AMOLED display and wireless charging technology. The handset will feature a flat-edge design and a centred punch-hole notch display. It will offer a triple-rear camera setup and Active Halo design with AI Lighting.

Much like other Infinix products, we can expect the upcoming Note 40 5G to be sold via Flipkart in India.

The Note 40 5G is already available in global markets. So, its specifications and features are already known. The Note 40 5G offers a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and 50,00,000: 1 contrast ratio. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Note 40 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor with an integrated IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. It features up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS storage. The handset also has a microSD card slot. It boots Android 14-based XOS 14.

The Note 40 5G has a triple-rear camera setup, which includes a 108MP primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture. It has a 32MP front shooter. The handset is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging support. Additionally, it supports 15W MagCharge wireless charging.
