iQoo 9 Pro Appears on Geekbench and 3C with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 120W Fast Charging Support

The handset will come pre-loaded with Android 12.

iQOO is all set to launch the iQOO 9 series smartphones in China. The iQOO 9 series will consist of two devices – iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro, and will debut on 5th January. Ahead of the launch, we have now spotted the upcoming iQOO 9 Pro with model number V2172A on the Geekbench benchmark database.

The listing once again confirms that the iQOO 9 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and will boot Android 12 out of the box. Let us take a closer look at the iQOO 9 Pro Geekbench score and key specifications.

iQOO 9 Pro will come Pre-loaded with Android 12

iQOO 9 Pro appeared on the Geekbench database with model number V2172A. The upcoming Vivo device has scored 1277 points in the single-core test in the Geekbench 5 benchmark. Whereas, the multi-core score stands at 3787 points. The listing reveals that the iQOO 9 Pro will have 12GB of RAM. Though, we can expect the company to launch the handset in other memory variants as well. The device is now confirmed to come pre-loaded with Android 12.

The Geekbench listing also reveals the presence of a processor with codename taro and 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration. Also, the listing confirms an integrated Adreno 730G graphics processing unit. These confirm that the upcoming handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. To those unaware, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is Qualcomm’s flagship offering as of now, and is built on a 4nm fabrication processor.

The smartphone has also been listed on the Chinese 3C Certification website that shows that it will come with support for 120W fast charging which will make it part of a select few smartphones to feature this technology.

iQOO 9 Pro: What We know so far?

The iQOO 9 Pro will feature a second-gen LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be a 2K resolution display similar to the iQOO 8 Pro. The iQOO 9 Pro is said to be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery and 120W fast charging. The handset will come with a BMW sports edition.
