iQOO has announced the iQOO Z9 5G India launch date. The upcoming Z-series smartphone will debut in the country on March 12. iQOO took to social media channels to announce the iQOO Z9 India launch date.

To those unaware, iQOO dropped the first teaser for the iQOO Z9 India launch a week ago and confirmed that a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC will power the upcoming Z-series smartphone. The handset will be sold in the country via Amazon.

The iQOO Z9 5G is confirmed to feature a dual-rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor. The primary rear sensor will also feature OIS (optical image stabilisation) support. iQOO claims that the iQOO Z9 will be the first smartphone in its segment to feature a Sony IMX882 sensor.

The iQOO Z9 Indian variant has the model number I2302 and was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. As per the listing, the handset will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and will come pre-loaded with the latest version of Android, that is, Android 14.

The iQOO Z9 will arrive as a successor to the iQOO Z7, which offers a 90Hz AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. So, we can expect a Full HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate on the upcoming Z-series smartphone. The iQOO Z9 will likely feature a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
