Jovi Y39 5G Spotted on 3C Certification; Vivo Y04 Listed on FCC Database

[Update: January 25]: The NBTC certification has listed a new Vivo smartphone with the V2430 model number. The listing confirms that it will launch with the Vivo Y04 moniker.

The database adds that the affordable Vivo smartphone will sport LTE connectivity.

Vivo is preparing to launch a new smartphone under its Jovi sub-brand. The MySmartPrice team has spotted the Jovi Y39 5G on the 3C certification website. Additionally, we have also identified the Vivo Y04 on the FCC certification.

Jovi Y39 5G 3C Certification

A new Vivo smartphone with the model number V2444A has appeared on the 3C certification. This model number was earlier tipped to launch with the Jovi Y39 5G marketing name. The 3C certification confirms that the smartphone will support an adapter with model numbers V4440L0A0-CN or V4440L0E0-CN.

The adapters will offer an output of 5VDC 3A, 9VDC 2A, or 11VDC 4A. The output confirms that the Jovi smartphone will support 44W wired fast charging tech. The certification doesn’t reveal any other details of the smartphone apart from the 5G mobile connectivity.

To recall, our folks at MySmartPrice recently spotted the device on the Geekbench database with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and boot Android 15 out of the box, which is likely to be based on Origin OS 5.

Vivo Y04 FCC Certification

The FCC database has confirmed the imminent global launch of a Vivo smartphone with the V2430 model number. The IMEI database has previously revealed that it will launch with the Vivo Y04 moniker. The label of the device confirms that it will debut in a 4GB + 128GB configuration.

The Vivo Y04 will be backed by a 5,050mAh-rated battery with a typical capacity of 5,150mAh. The device will ship with the V1530L0B0-EU adaptor with an output of 5V 3A. The identifiers confirm that it will support 15W wired fast charging tech and will be shipped with a 1m USB cable.

The upcoming device will sport 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Galileo, BDS, GLONASS, GPS, SBAS, QZSS, and FM receiver connectivity. It will support LTE Band 2, Band 4, Band 5, Band 7, Band 13, Band 18, Band 19, Band 26, Band 38, Band 41, and Band 66.

To recall, we also spotted the Vivo Y04 on the CQC certification, which revealed identical fast charging capabilities.
