Lava has introduced its new Storm series in India, featuring two budget smartphones—Storm Play and Storm Lite—both priced under Rs 10,000.
The Storm Play targets users who value multitasking and performance. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and, as per Lava, is the first smartphone in this segment to offer LPDDR5 RAM along with UFS 3.1 storage. The device features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery, ensuring smooth usage throughout the day.
The Storm Lite, on the other hand, is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC. It shares the same battery capacity and adds a 50MP primary rear camera, making it a well-rounded option for everyday use.
Positioned under Rs 8,000, the Storm Lite is aimed at users who seek efficient performance at a highly affordable price point.
The Storm Play will hit the shelves on June 19 at 12 PM, priced at Rs 9,999. Meanwhile, the more affordable Storm Lite will be available starting June 24 at 12 PM, with a price tag of Rs 7,999.
