MediaTek has unveiled the MediaTek Helio G100 SoC as a successor to the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The chipset is based on TSMC’s advanced 6nm (N6) chip production process to enhance power efficiency and increase battery life. Check out the details.

MediaTek debuts the latest Helio series SoC with a high-performance octa-core CPU and Arm GPU paired with LPDDR4X memory and UFS storage. The Helio G100 SoC supports cameras up to 200MP, which allows manufacturers to pack higher-res cameras on the affordable 4G smartphones. The SoC supports lossless in-sensor zoom and 2.2um pixel binning tech.
There’s support for FHD+ displays with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Helio G100 SoC also gets a 4G Elevator Mode, which allows the cellular modem to re-establish a connection quicker from places without coverage. Take a look at the complete specifications of the Helio G100 SoC.
