The Moto G53s 5G will be a new mid-range 5G smartphone launching later this year. The exact launch timeline of the Motorola phone is unknown. The launch might take place soon as the G53s 5G has been spotted on the Google Play Console with the codename Penang. The listing confirms the moniker of the phone. It also reveals that the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon SM4350, which is likely the Snapdragon 480 SoC. The SoC has two Kryo 460 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Kryo 460 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. There is also an Adreno 619 GPU under the hood for graphics.
The variant of the G53s 5G listed on Geekbench has 4GB of RAM. It runs Android 13 out of the box. There will be a layer of MyUX on top of Android, which provides customisation and personalisation options.
The screen has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. At the moment, the screen size is unknown. This is the first time that the Moto G53s 5G has been spotted online.
