Motorola is reportedly working on a couple of new G-series phones for the global market. These include the Moto G56, G86, and G96. Since the G56 has received multiple certifications, it is expected to go official soon.

Ahead of the rumoured launch, popular tipster Evan Blass has shared a specs sheet of the G56, which has revealed almost everything about the phone. The device will arrive as a successor to the G54, which went official with the Dimensity 7020 chip onboard in September 2024. Here is a look at the leaked details of the G56.

  • As per the leak, the Moto G56 measures 75 x 76.26 x 8.35mm and weighs 200 grams. When it comes to durability, the G56 will arrive with Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the display, an MIL-STD-810H-certified chassis, and IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance.
  • The Moto G56 will feature a 6.72-inch LCD FHD+ panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness.
  • Under the hood, the G56 will feature the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, 4GB / 8GB of RAM, 128GB / 256GB of storage, and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
  • The G56 will house a 5,200mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
  • The device will run on Android 15 with the Helio UX user interface on top. It is expected to receive one OS upgrade and up to four years of security updates. The 8GB variant of the G56 will support the Smart Connect feature for app streaming, mirroring, webcam, and so on.
  • On the front, the G56 will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camer Its rear panel will be equipped with a Sony LYT-600 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
  • The G56 will arrive with other features such as dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
  • The Moto G56 will arrive with connectivity features such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. Depending on the market, it may come with eSIM support.

At present, there is no information about the G56’s pricing. However, it is expected to arrive in multiple Pantone shades, such as Black Oyster, Gray Mist, Dazzling Blue, and Dill.
