Motorola Edge 50 India Launch Date Announced: Check Details

Motorola has announced the launch date of the Motorola Edge 50 smartphone in India. The Flipkart microsite has gone live, confirming the smartphone’s key features and specifications.

Motorola Edge 50: What We Know So Far

Motorola will launch the smartphone on August 1, and the event will be streamed through the brand’s social handles starting at noon. The MIL-STD 810H-certified device is tested to survive shock, vibration, pressure, dust, high temperature, low temperature, and salt fog.

The Edge 50 will be available in Jungle Green, PANTONE Peach Fuzz, and Koala Grey shades. The device is confirmed to sport a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP Sony LYT 700C primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with Moto AI functions.

The centred punch hole cutout of the Edge 50 will house the 32MP selfie snapper. The Motorola Edge 50 will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging tech.

Motorola will also debut the device with IP68 dust and water resistance. The device will run on Android 14 out of the box and be eligible for three major OS upgrades and four years of security patch updates.
