The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will offer several AI features. It includes Magic Canvas, which can generate AI images with user-input text prompts. There is also an Action Shot feature, which enables blur-free images of the subject in motion. The handset will also offer Smart Connect for users to stream between devices.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will also come with an IP68rating making it dust and water-resistant. It comes in three colour options: Forest Grey, Nordic Woods, and Peach Fuzz. The Nordic Wood variant of the device makes use of real wood. Whereas, the Forest Grey variant has a silicon vegan leather rear panel.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera with 1/1.3-inch sensor size optical image stabilisation. It has an AI-powered Telephoto camera with OIS which enables 100x AI SuperZoom.

There is also a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 122° field of view. The handset relies on a 50MP front camera (with autofocus) for selfies.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra offers a 6.7-inch 3D curved pOLED display with a 1.5K pixel resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2500nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is a 10-bit panel which houses an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with an Adreno 735 GPU. It supports 125W TurboPower wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It features Wi-Fi 7 connectivity support.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra boots HelloUI, which includes custom fonts, colours, icons, Family Space, Moto Unplugged, Moto Connect, and Moto Secure. The company is also promising four years of software support including three Android OS upgrades.
