In January this year, POVA Mobile dropped a new teaser on X (formerly Twitter), hinting at the launch of the upcoming TECNO POVA series smartphones in India. The teaser video shared by the company revealed the device’s back panel, revealing a triangular dual-camera setup with an integrated LED surrounding the camera island. Now, 91mobiles has shared an exclusive video revealing more of the camera island of the mysterious TECNO POVA smartphone.
Mysterious TECNO POVA Smartphone Camera Design Revealed
The promotional video shared by the reputed publication corroborates the teaser video shared by the brand earlier this year. According to the video, the upcoming TECNO POVA smartphone will feature a triangular-shaped camera island on the back panel. The island seems to house at least two camera sensors and an LED flash placed vertically in a single file.
The upcoming smartphone will likely feature the same LED lighting, which lights up during calls, messages, and other alerts. We have seen a similar LED lighting design on other POVA smartphones as part of the brand’s ‘Evolved Arc’ interface in the past. The video also features the tagline ‘A portal to the supreme,’ hinting at superior specifications.
Other details revealed by the teaser video include a boxy frame with flat edges and a taller design. Additionally, we can see an orange colour highlight below the camera module on the right side. Considering most smartphones have their power button in the exact same position, the very fact that the brand is highlighting the same indicates something special. If we have to hazard a guess, we can assume that the upcoming TECNO POVA smartphone might come with a capacitive button with multi-function mapping.
