Nothing is gearing up for the launch of the Nothing Phone (3) series smartphones. Evan Blass, a well-known tipster on X (formerly Twitter), has shared the internal email from Carl Pei (CEO and founder of Nothing), which reveals the launch timeline of the smartphone.
Nothing Phone (3) Expected Launch Timeline
The email confirms that the Nothing Phone (3) will be unveiled in Q1 of 2025, which is touted to be a landmark smartphone launch that the world will be very excited to see. The rumours on the web suggest that the launch would be scheduled for the end of March.
The upcoming flagship phone is also tipped to introduce breakthrough innovations in the user interface. It will be the first smartphone to feature an AI-powered platform. The leak also suggests that Nothing is aiming for the redefining of the user experience to make the user’s life easier.
The smartphone brand has also reportedly expanded its camera and software team by almost 50%, which results in greater innovation for the upcoming Nothing smartphones. Apart from this, the internal email doesn’t divulge any other details of the smartphones.
The flagship Phone (3) may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the forthcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC. Nothing is also expected to launch the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Plus in 2025.
Both the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Plus are likely to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. The standard variant is expected to come with a telephoto camera, while the Plus model will feature a periscope telephoto camera.
Both devices are tipped to support eSIM connectivity. A Nothing smartphone, identified by the NT04 model number, was recently spotted on BIS and UL Demko certifications. It will pack a 4,920mAh rated battery capacity and is believed to be part of the Phone (3a) or (3a) Plus lineup.
More details are expected to go out officially soon. So stay tuned.
