Nothing Phone (3) Price Tipped

At the recently conducted Android Show I/O Edition by Google, Carl Pei made a surprise appearance. He revealed that the Nothing Phone (3) will be priced at around £800 or approximately Rs 90,500. Carl also confirmed that the device will feature all premium materials, and it will be the first true flagship from the company.

Nothing’s global prices have always been on the higher side, compared to Indian prices. Hence, we can expect the Nothing Phone (3) to be priced at around Rs 75,000 in India.

Although Carl can be seen holding the Nothing Phone (3) in his hands, the device is blurred. Hence, we do not have an official first look at the moment. But from what it appears, it looks like the phone is almost ready, and we may soon witness the launch in June or July 2025.

Carl also mentioned that the Nothing Phone (3) will offer the best Android experience. The material design of Nothing OS is closest to the Pixel’s Android UI. The company will also bring all new features from Android 16 to its devices.

Nothing Phone (3): Specifications (Expected)

Not much is known about the Nothing Phone (3) at the moment. The device is expected to feature a flagship-grade processor, instead of flagship-killer chipsets as we have seen so far.

  • Display: The Nothing Phone (3) could feature a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, similar to the Phone (3a) Pro.
  • Processor: The device may sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.
  • Software: The phone is more likely to run on Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15, and offer up to six years of software updates.
  • Rear cameras: The Nothing Phone (3) is expected to feature triple rear cameras, with a 50MP primary, 50MP telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Considering that these specs are already available on the Nothing Phone (3a), we can expect some major upgrades with better sensors on the Phone (3).
  • Front camera: The selfie camera could remain the same at 50MP.
  • Battery and charging: The Nothing Phone (3) could use a larger 5500mAh battery. It is also likely to retain fast charging support with 50W or higher wattage.

Nothing Phone (3): Things To Consider

Based on the pricing details shared by Carl Pei, the Nothing Phone (3) will be the most premium and first-ever true flagship from the company. It will bring huge upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2).

Nothing Phone 2a Plus

The new device will bring a signifcant performance boost, as the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400 are both twice as powerful than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, present on the Nothing Phone (2).

Another significant upgrade is the new addition of a telephoto lens, which the previous-gen phone lacked. The Nothing Phone (3) is likely to feature a combination of 50MP primary, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses, giving you the complete flexibilility in camera usage.

The battery capacity will also be bumped up from 4700mAh, to up to 5500mAh. This will massively improve the battery life of the Nothing Phone (3). Since the device will feature a 3nm chip, it will further improve the overall efficiency.

In addition to these upgrades, the Nothing Phone (3) will also compete in the top-end segment against the likes of the OnePlus 13, Samsung Galaxy S25, Vivo X200, and others. It will be interesting to see how Carl Pei places this device, as it is being designed to cater to a true flagship and premium experience.
